The Journal of Indonesian Digital Pedagogy (JIDP), published by Zamzami Scholar Publishing, Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia, is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research on the digital transformation of Islamic education in Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian context. The journal promotes high-quality empirical and conceptual scholarship that critically examines digital pedagogies, technological integration, and pedagogical innovation within madrasahs, pesantrens, and Islamic higher education institutions. JIDP serves as an analytical forum for investigating how digitally mediated environments reshape teaching and learning practices, institutional cultures, religious authority, governance structures, and learner subjectivities in Islamic educational settings.
JIDP welcomes methodologically rigorous contributions employing diverse approaches, including digital ethnography, learning analytics, computational and data-driven methods, and qualitative and quantitative research designs. Its scope encompasses digital pedagogy and curriculum development; e-learning, mobile learning, gamification, and AI-assisted instruction; digital culture and online behavior among educators and learners; virtual religious learning communities and digital pesantren ecosystems; educational data analytics, algorithmic governance, and academic integrity; institutional transformation, policy, accreditation, and quality assurance; and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and immersive learning environments. By fostering critical scholarly dialogue, the journal seeks to inform educational reform, policy development, and sustainable technological adaptation in Islamic educational institutions, while contributing to broader international debates on education, religion, and digital society.
